Gaming Under The Ice (previously Gaming Under The Influence) was acquired by Jay and Kari in 2021 with a simple goal: to build a welcoming gaming community while giving back to animal shelters in need.
Starting in a church basement with handmade terrain, gaming mats, and room for just 20 players, GUTI has grown alongside the local Warhammer community into a thriving event organization.
We proudly continue our tradition of supporting local animal rescues through our Majestic Beasties fundraiser, while hosting three two-day Grand Tournaments each year in partnership with gaming stores and organizations both locally and beyond.
At GUTI, it's about more than competition. It's about community, friendship, great games, and giving back.
Gaming Under The Ice — built by the community, for the community.
Meet The Team
Jay and I took over GUTI in 2021 because we saw something special in the community. What started with a small group of people in a church basement has grown into an amazing local Warhammer family. What we love most is the people — the friendships, the welcoming atmosphere, and watching new players find a place within the community. The events and tournaments are great, but it’s the people who make them special.
We’re incredibly proud of how far GUTI has come and so excited to see where this community goes next!
